When she left the State Department, most media news reported Hillary Clinton as one of the best Secretary of State the country has ever had. It was only when she expressed the intention to run for President in 2016 that all kind of justified and unjustified attacks was thrown to vilipend her achievements.Some people did not hesitate to appeal to bigotry or sexism.
If Hillary Clinton is elected President in 2016, it will be a major glass-ceiling breaking in the history that we could say we are making progress toward equal opportunity for all (women and men).She has demonstrated intellectual capacity that the biological difference will not matter in making choice.
The journal, The Guardian notes:"Irrespective of whether Mrs Clinton is the worthiest inaugural Madam, rather than Mr President, it would surely be wonderful if the 43 men who have held the office since George Washington were at long last followed by one woman."
